USCA’s Rules and Regulations have been updated! There are many important changes to the rules regarding:

• Microchipping

• Prerequisites for Breeding and the Character Assessment Test (WB)

• USCA Sieger Show and National Conformation Show Rules

New regulations for the selection process for Universal Sieger/Siegerin was approved by the USCA Executive Board.

This proposal is to revamp our selection process for Universal Sieger/Siegerin and the remaining Universal Team members.  This new selection process will mirror the WUSV Universal Competition regulations. These regulations will begin in 2022 for the 2022 Universal Sieger and Siegerin as well as for the 2023 Universal Team.

We will be adding a “Universal Working Class Conformation Show” to the GSD National Championships each year, beginning in 2022.  Adding this working class show to Nationals weekend will make our process overall more competitive.  This will make it will be easier for those vying for Universal to make one trip to Nationals and to enter the Universal Working Class Conformation Show right there at Nationals versus two trips to both National events as previous years.

Hello Everyone, 

Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas and a safe New Years! 
This is a reminder of a couple of items before year end!! 

1. If you are a USCA member and your dog is due for a lifetime breed survey this year (2021), USCA or SV survey, we are granting another extension due to the corona pandemic. Please contact Jody at USCA office if you’d like the extension. This will be final 12/31/21 so if you do not request extension by this time you will not be able to do it.

2. All dogs born after February 1, 2019 through December 31, 2021, who would turn old enough for the Wesensbeuteilung (Character Assessment Test) during this time, upon registering for one of these future tests,  you will receive automatic permission from the SV if your dog enters a test over the 13 month cutoff age and you will not have to pay the penalty fee. (This test ONLY required for SV breed survey, it is NOT required for USCA breed survey until 1/1/2025)
